Reflection by Joy Penner
"Students should be encouraged to become self-regulatory, self-
mediated, and self-aware"
(Learning Resources Unit @ BCIT, 2003, p.20)
Having engaged, connected, and applied my learning, it is now time to
work on what I already know through reflection (Moon, 2001). This will enable me to see where I have come from, what I have learned, what needs adjusting, and how I can continue to build my knowledge.
This e-Portfolio as a whole represents this reflective activity. As I have considered my learning from a constructivist framework, I have found a natural, organic linking of my learning between courses and assignments, indicated through the use of hypertext. Within the e-Portfolio, I have also included some reflections from along the way. Finally my reflective blog represents reflections as I proceed through this final course (ETEC590), connecting current activities with past ones.
